Kezo a chap at the football told me to get a sky sound box off eBay around £50 said they sound fantastic would it improve the sound on my old Samsung tv ? I’m not a sky customer so would it work ok ? He said they are very well made and plug in the HDMI socket . I have earring aids so this may be a big help ? Your advice on this box would be very welcome many thanks
Hi Mike I believe it will work with any TV and will be by far superior than your TV’s inbuilt speakers. The Soundbox is made by Devialet, a pretty high end audio manufacturers who use parts from other high end manufacturers. Having a Sky Q subscription unlocks exclusive sound features i.e with Sky Q it’s meant to pick up meta data so it knows what program you’re watching and adjust the sound to suit, without Sky Q it’s not going to do this but there is a EQ menu in the setting. It also has built in bluetooth so can be used with other equipment you have, so not just for your TV.
Think of it as a stand alone speaker/soundbar and you will be pleasantly sueprised by its quality over your current setup!
For £50 get one, you will be boogying all night long. Sorry thats a bit cheesy ?
