If Tesla don’t want to deal with Motability they won’t go on the scheme. At present Tesla have the attitude of don’t want it then someone else will buy it. Motability will want discounts etc Tesla will say no plus Tesla will no doubt worry about eroding residuals by flooding the market with 3 year old Tesla’s.
Because a car is not on the scheme doesn’t mean it’s Motabilitys fault. If a given manufacturer doesn’t want a car or all their cars on the scheme then they won’t be. On top of that I doubt Motability want the hassle of dealing with Tesla’s terrible customer service, difficulty at sourcing parts and more. Part of it is probably also down to the way Tesla works too.
My money is Tesla aren’t on the scheme because they don’t want to be on the scheme
