Okay I’ve turned that off. What about adaptive contrast?
Adaptive contrast basically, Automatically darken’s dark areas and lighten light areas of images to see more details. having it on may make the picture “pop” a bit more, but the negative it will more than likely crush black and whites, reducing the detail of the scene. It can also introduce colour banding artifacts.
Turning this off will useually ensure your getting maximum amount of detail in the picture.
There is a few you can adjust and each of picture modes will turn on/off different parameters, of which you can further enhance yourself.
I’ll put a list up over the next day or two, so you can make of each setting you have turned on or off. That way you will be able to revert back to original settings, have them at hand should they revert back themselves and beable to play in your own time and not get lost what youve done 🙂
