Yes there are quite a few different charger manufacturers. I opted to decline the one offered to me on the scheme as wasn’t impressed by the lack of features.
We went with a zappi charger instead. Very simple installation as no earth rod required. All ev chargers need a CT clamp at the main to monitor grid usage etc.
Zappi has a wireless option (this was important for us as our consumer unit is a great distance from the charger) and with the hub we use the app which gives us full control over the charging and loads of other information.
