We bought a heat pump dryer a few years back. In fairness to it it’s cheap enough to run all year if we wanted.

We’re thinking of getting a heat pump dryer when the current one breaks, but it’s pretty bulletproof, we’ve had it 10 years and it’s still going strong. I may just buy one and sell the current model. I think the indesit one we have costs about £1 to use, in the winter we use it 4 times a week so a heat pump should pay for itself quite quickly.
