Anyone that can wind up the sub human cretin, Trump deserves the admiration of all decent people. Theres no doubt there will be rejoicing in the Unionist parties because they were afraid of how popular she was compared to their leaders. She is a formidable opponent and has helped the SNP to become the biggest party in Scotland.

As far as poverty in Scotland is concerned one thing is for sure, it’s not been caused by Independence, rather by over-dependence A recent report in the FT stated that the UK is a poor Country with lots of rich people and as a result pockets of extreme poverty occur. The poorest 20% of people in the UK are 63% poorer than their counterparts in the Republic of Ireland and are 20% lower than those in  Slovenia. Poland is due to overtake the UK by the end of the decade.

Brydo I dont agree that we should only be concerned by our own part of the UK. As with all Countries we are all interdependent so what happens in England Northern Ireland and Wales will have an impact. After Independence I would like to see a similar relationship develop as that between the Scandinavian countries. It would make good sense given our close proximity.

As far as rumours of misconduct are concerned let’s wait and see. One thing is for sure the reported misdemeanours will be trivial compared to the corruption on a daily basis at Westminster. Nicola Sturgeon is a formidable opponent and has helped the SNP to become the biggest party in Scotland. Time will tell as to what her legacy will be but I have no doubt that overall it will be a positive one to all that want the best for Scotland.
