Sorry Mike Ive been writing the above all morning in between sorting dinner and seeing to my daughter so only just seen it.

Thanks for the pictures showing the layout of your room. I do not think it is out of the ordinary where you TV is located as most peeople have their TV located in front of what normally is a large lounge window. Rather than sun directly shining on your TV (it shouldnt) you are been blinded when the sun shines. In which case I take it either tilt the patio blinds away from the TV or close them?

Do you have blinds on your little window only I can’t make out if you do or not?

Do you watch TV more in the evening or is it an equal mixture of both during the day and evening?

As a quick example of  my layout – my TV is hung on the chimney breast with a west facing large bay window at  90 degrees to the TV in the lounge, there is then large south facing glazed doors at 90 degrees in the opposite direction to my TV leading to the dining room and then a large set of patio doors leading outside. Do my louge is flooded with light most of the day.

From my perspective either TV technology would be suitable but, I fully understand your concerns wanting another LED TV so we will soley focus on going down this route 🙂
