It’s only when a journey is approaching the limit of the range that I would way up the balance of slight fall in comfort to prevent a wait for charging and the need to have tried it a few times to gain confidence – but until I need to do that length of journey – comfort over range every time ?

Spot on, On Monday I set home with an 112 mile journey and about 50 extra miles, I was a little cautious for the first 20 miles, but with the reserve still at 50, relaxed. I don’t generally travel at more than 65 on the motorway, but if I was down to 10 miles in reserve, I would probably switch a couple of things off to get a bit of extra range. Planning should prevent these things happening and from our experiences we are averaging the mid 300´s in hot conditions, using air con, radio/audio etc.

With more experience of using the car, confidence, already quite high, will increase in its range forecasts.
