i had a home assessment too.. they refused to do it several times saying they dont do them. but i got my doctor involved who told them in no uncertain terms i wasn’t fit to travel to edinburg and couldnt walk more than about 10 /15 yards on good day. on a bad one i couldnt do that. they relented and sent a nurse.
she was pleasent and asked a few questions etc. no tricks as she could see i couldnt do much. i told her i didnt expect anything and only claimed as all the docs and nurses etc said i should.
she said as she was leaving i would get it no worries, and 6 weeks later i did.. amazingly.
