When anyone walks into any form of retail establishment you should all be treated equally. When I discussed the Kuga, the salesman never asked if I was a private, company or MB customer. When I enquired about hand over times, he said he could do the PDI, register and have the vehicle ready in two weeks. At this point we had not even talked about how I was going to pay for it. However, as soon as I said it was going to be a Motability vehicle, they refused to complete the deal – that is discrimination full stop.
When I wrote to the head office, regarding the situation they apologised, offered me the Kuga plus compensation.
We are actually buying the vehicle we are leasing it and we have all the rights of a retail customer plus the backing of the Financial ombudsman. We have more rights than Motability let you believe we do.
