    Kezo, as it stands power companies are paid millions£ to switch off their wind farms at night as there is little demand for the power generated.

    If we can convince ev drivers to :-

    a) Charge their cars at night to use this cheap energy (and save millions being paid to suppliers for doing nothing)

    and

    b) Get EV drivers to share some of the energy stored in their cars on a daily basis.

    Then the need to build nuclear plants and use gas fired power stations will be reduced.

    So in essence if we use what we have sensibly things, in the next decade, will be fine.

    Scotland will be a powerhouse in this move to green energy and increased supply, already providing 25% of the UKs electricity just now and this is set to rise substantially over the next 10 years.
