When you receive your letter from Mb saying you can order from X date for exchange at X date.. 3 months prior to your 3 year lease ending.. but as i said that’s irrelevant to a new customer.

A new customer is in a different position than and existing customer and pretty much of one who decides to extend their 3 year lease for 1/2 years and at any point thereafter, they can decide to order a new car and if it was from stock and not a factory order one could be in it after 7 days to 2 weeks.

So they can move asap is my point, which is an advantage, or get a deal off the advance payment. not that there’s many about right now. but there are two. https://www.motaclarity.co.uk/news/motability-deals

It does depend on being flexible and going with what’s available, but that might be better than a long long wait which some are currently experiencing via the scheme.  Which is ok if you have a car, but not good if you haven’t.

One could order a car from anywhere in the uk that has one, yep you’d have to travel there and on most occasions twice. One to do paper work if your a new customer especially and to pick it up. you can get it serviced anywhere either, It don’t have to be suppling dealer.
