Regardless of the manufacturer or model of car, I think it’s really important to be aware that, in the current climate, until a car is actually built any delivery dates quoted by dealers are always latest estimates / best guesses. These dates are highly likely to change. No dealer can guarantee a car in a specific month until it is built and en-route. I fear that some folk need to manage their expectations in order to avoid disappointment!
Absolutely spot on, I am sad to say. Am waiting an update myself from Hyundai Customer Services, but March, which was unrealistic, became May, then June/July and I am expecting that date to slip further.
What we appear to know from this and other forums is that Ultimate’s ordered in October 2021 are due for delivery shortly, around 7 months. Premiums seem to have much quicker delivery timescales. We also know that once the cars leave Korea, on average they take 7 weeks to reach the dealership.
