Cheers thought that was the case, we couldn’t remember from the last one we had. Dealer is pushing for us to sign now even though we are not expecting the car till April/May at the earliest.
There is definitely a ‘wheel off’ if the dealer wants your PIN now for a April/May hand-over.
As posted above, do not enter your PIN (or let the dealer have sight of it) until after you have fully inspected the new car on collection day.
It will be worth speaking with Motability about this as dealers should be fully aware of when the PIN needs to be entered.
