I’ve had some rotters over the years. In my 20s I had a number of £100 cars that I ran until scrapping. This included an Alfa Sud with a massive hole in the passenger footwell, a brown Austin Maxi, a purple Mini Metro and a Vauxhall Viva. The “winner” though is probably the Viva, just for the lack of comfort and fact it was so lacking in any form of power. I did also run a Vauxhall Senator 3L during this period as well so it wasn’t all bad. That was some car and so fast in a straight line!
I always fancied a 3.0 Senator but never got one. I had a Rover 827 Vitesse and Ford Scorpio Cosworth instead. I wish that they still made the latter, even though it would never appear on Motability ?
