I’m sure that lots of scheme members have regrets Graeme, especially those who extended their leases last year in the hope that choice would improve when, in reality, it’s got significantly worse and AP’s have rocketed. However, looking on the bright side, you are already a year into your Puma (I haven’t driven one, but they are very nice looking cars and have great reviews) and the situation we are now in is unlikely to improve much before next year.
Like you, we will be changing in two years time and we are quite relieved that we don’t have to worry about making any decisions until Spring 2024. The chip crisis should be history by then, but whether we shall see the likes of BMW and Mercedes back on the scheme is anybody’s guess. We are making the assumption that we will leave the scheme at that point, but we may be pleasantly surprised if things have improved significantly by then. I’m not holding my breath though!
