The reason that it won’t happen is that it’s not in Motability’s interests to make it easy for people to leave the scheme, which is the same reason why the price that they quote to buy the car at end of lease is always excessive.
yes, it might mean they dont get a new lease so they would need to have a change of direction at top. for that to happen tthey would need to be under pressure to change which, with 2.4 bil in bank, is unlikely.
