    Alot of car manufacturers bringing chip production in house,but I’m told it’s not easy producing car chips.

    I doubt that very much. Do you have a source for that? I did read that manufacturers started directly buying from TSMC etc, rather than through third parties/part suppliers (Bosch etc), but i’ve not yet seen car manufacturers going into chip production. A microprocessor is the most complicated thing mankind has ever invented (factually), it’s not something you can just get into, or even purchase the “chip making machines” for. It’s like saying BMW is bringing large scale wheat farming in house, there’s no overlap between microprocessors and car manufacturing.

    I’d be at the very least incredibly surprised.
