Ps. I’m not against people on 25k getting a 12.5% bonus. It’s small fry in the scheme of things. (compared to exec bonuses etc) They shouldn’t really be earning 25k in the first place though.
Not really small fry. There are 1,200 employees at Motability Operations, so the cost of the bonuses for those on £25k will be many many times more than the one CEO. I just can’t get my head around why anyone at Motability Operations would be getting bonuses. Keep in mind that £25k is considerably more than most other call centres pay their staff and is more than those in the early years of professions such as Police Officers, nurses etc. On top of the £25k they get a further 15% pension contribution, 28 days paid holiday (plus Bank Holidays), private health insurance etc etc etc. The total package is worth well over £30k. I know a lot of people who have far more responsible jobs yet earn less than that and their salaries aren’t funded by disabled peoples benefits.
