I sent the DVLA my renewal forms at the start of March and it’s taken so long for them to process my application (including when the DVLA Medical Assessment teams went on strike for 4 weeks!) that I also received a letter from them demanding an up-dated photograph, and that they’ll cancel my application if they don’t receive that photograph within 14 days!
I sent my medical license renewal application back in April, had the medical in July and got my new license middle of October.
