Toyota Corolla Hybrid   I have to say I am somewhat disappointed in this 2 litre GR.   It handles well.  The heads up display is good. The seats are comfy.  But that where it ends.   The dash display is far too dim in daylight. Despite it being turned up to maximum.  The touch screen button labels are totally unreadable unless the sun is shining on them.  The heater control labels are also totally unreadable.  Both should be illuminated.  The satellite  navigation screen is pathetic. Yesterday the whole thing went haywire and was indicating my location as 6 miles away from where I actually was.  The speed limit indication was in chaos and telling me every speed limit from 70 down to 40 when I was actually in a 30 limit.   I think for the class of car based on its retail price I am glad I dont own it.   This model on the continent or the USA is much better when it comes to what I think should be standard equipment.  No heated steering wheel.  Manually operated seats.  No blind spot indicators.   My previous Hyundai was far better equipped and in the same retail price range.  Seems to me being built in Britain smacks of the old British Leyland days.  Knock em out cheap as its only for the British market.  Sad really as its a great looking car.  Spoiled by cheapness in equipment.
