Most BMW’s I’ve privately owned over the years have been faux luxury. I was pleasantly surprised to see how many VAG vehicles had surpassed, even matched many aspects of the brand.
Current X1 is one of the worst value for money offerings on the scheme currently. In terms of luxury it’s woefully behind the rest of the offerings in the BMW range, let alone alternative manufacturers.
