Bit off topic but kind of ties in. On the Tiguan facelift models the rear vents for passengers are only ever active in AUTO mode. No matter what combination of air direction you choose they can’t be activated unless you toggle the auto switch. So when you’re travelling and someone in the back would like the vents on it’s a case of glancing downwards a couple of times to see if the button was pressed, then changing everything back afterwards.
Tiguan has the worst touch control implementation I’ve ever used.
