They should be no problem choosing from a selection of registrations. Just make sure you request it in time. We have had 3 new motability cars and 4 new private cars since 2002 and had the choice of 10-15 every time. Even our current car picked up in March we had a choice of at least 15. It’s amazing how easy it is to find some sort of familiarity or a personal meaning with a certain number plate. Good luck.
