I upgraded my current car, the S-Max, to the Sony system. 13 speakers, sounds awesome and well worth it to me. I do a lot of miles so spend 2+ hours a day in the car, so its not too hard to justify the spend, especially after coming from the std sound in the Grand Picasso which was really pants.
Replacement Kia Soul EV has Harman Kardon as std, it was excellent during the test drive.
