1. Single speed (no gearbox as they’re all junk, including all the DCT/Auto etc., ones) because I don’t want that awful jerky ride, I just expect a clean acceleration curve instantly (so it’s an EV then)
2. Room for the wheelchair in the boot (but I’ve been using a Foldawheel type for years & they fit in most cars)
3. Fuel efficient
4. No stinky tailpipe that allows exhaust gases to re-enter the car
5. Makes me smile everytime I drive it
And no, I don’t want a BMW iX3 because most of the parts are made in China & they want over £58k for what is essentially an updated MG ZS EV for more that twice the price.
