I did the maths & because we occasionally need more seats & to tow it works out the best value to keep the old car for holidays towing & 7 seats & use an EV the rest of the time.
Car insurance is now £200 a year, road tax remains free as EVs are exempt so for low mileage it’s actually the better option for us.
The Outlander is probably the best option if you don’t have that 7 seat requirement. I did have test drives booked before covid on one as really like the idea & look before I decided to commit to the eV.
