In most ways, full electric would be ideal with your mileage especially if you have a drive. You’d be looking at less than 4p a mile to run.
size wise though, the Kona is s as lot smaller than the XC40, driven both, I’d say the seats were equally comfortable and they’re fully electric, heated and cooled if wanted plus heated steering wheel and far cheaper than the Volvo in AP and running. Volvo does definitely win out though in the feeling of luxury, the Kona has everything as standard, but does feel a bit plasticky inside.
There’s also the Ford Kuga PHEV, had lots of problems with the battery initially, but I think that’s now been sorted
worst thing on the PHEV’s is the massive AP’s
id suggest trying them all if you can
