    I contacted Motability first thing this morning and, as usual, they were most helpful. I explained about the car being under a cover and the problems I later found. They are in contact with the dealership and will sort things out with them.

    For me, another lesson well and truly learned, even if your new car has a cover over it, ALWAYS check it over BEFORE adding you pin number.
