I don’t think we’re at a point yet where everyone is demanding EV’s so companies will want to keep selling ICE cars that they’ve spent a fortune developing while they still can. I think we’ll see things changing the closer we get to 2030 but that’s still years away really.
I actually think an advantage to this is that it gives the charging systems time to develop. It would cause problems if everyone went out and got EV’s tomorrow but hopefully the charging will improve in line with EV sales so there is never a huge shortage and it keeps people relatively happy
