Depends on the criteria, best car, best value, biggest range, most economic, sporty, badge appeal, etc etc etc. In terms of pure motability, range offered and affordability might be more important for the average user.

Ford with 8 models and 211 versions on the Motability scheme would appear to be well ahead of the others for range offered and affordability. Volvo has 1 model with 18 versions.
The Fiesta, Focus, Puma and Kuga are all rated very highly in their respective categories by the motoring press. They just don’t have the badge.
Obviously Ford don’t compare favourable to the big German manufacturers when you’re talking about the full range of vehicles offered outside of Motability and if money was no object.
