Weather viciously variable again. Bright and clear one minute; wall of water the next. “Bleurgh” does not cover it.
Local GP (at least their so-called receptionist) completely unhelpful, rude and bordering on nasty. Told Madam T (who is over 65 and is on the Clinically Extremely Vulnerable list) that she could not have a jab because she was only a “medium” risk on the surgery records. Surgery does not operate shielded appointments for jabs. You just have to turn up and wait together with lots of others in waiting room. Wish I had the will and energy left to take them to task but I just can’t get involved with the “INOF” departments again. The whole of the NHS is permeated with a welter of staff whose job is to prove It’s Not Our Fault – thus the acronym. Have battled with them in the past and you cannot win; they close ranks and lie their way out of everything.
