Yes it is a bit of a waste I guess, but it wouldn’t be as straight forward as ringing a cab for us to go out. For a start I don’t think many mini cabs could accommodate my scooter and my wife’s chair.
If it did I certainly couldn’t help lift it into and out of the cab.
plus I can’t dictate what car my kids want to drive they have their own lives and families.
So at the moment it’s the best option.
