I take your point, Georgie but wonder if it would really be worth getting the “more powerful” 1.5L 182bhp version. It may be 2 secs faster to 60 than the 1.0L, but it’s still well north of 8 secs. The mk8 1.5L Golf delivers same performance from a lot less bhp and doesn’t look like it’s trying to win a gurning contest.
