I’ve been looking at the new VW Golf a lot lately – watching every YouTube review, etc. I still can’t make my mind up whether or not I like it! The R-Line is the one I’d have… but apart from it’s fairly drab exterior – the interior looks nice with the 2 big screens but is downright dangerous being touchscreen only & having to take your eyes off the road to adjust anything. The AP is just under a grand – not too bad – but I’ve added a few options that I would need (heated seats, etc) and the total is almost £2,000.
The A3 isn’t on the scheme yet – so I’m waiting for full details of which models and AP details might be available to us. No doubt we won’t get the sportier versions though – alas.
Top of my list is still the new Toyota Corolla 2.0 GR Sport though. It comes with everything… and I mean everything – although the AP is still too high for my liking at a touch over two grand.
In years gone by, we’ve had a good number of sporty/upmarket/premium cars from which to choose from. These days, I’m finding it really difficult to pick out a few models that really… grab me. Sooooo many cars these days are ZZzzzzzzzzzz looking!
