My view is he can’t and does not need to be at every briefing. That’s what he has his advisors and Ministers for. He’s running the country for goodness sake. And if he at your beck & call, he’d not get anything done.
Rather than spend 20-40 minutes fielding the frankly ludicrous questions that the so-called reporters ask, his time is best spent concentrating on his job.
One things for certain, the United Kingdom is certainly that no more.
@Footloose neither will I get political. In fact I do not like politics at all as they argue black is white which makes me think our interests are not at the forefront of their thinking. But to answer your question, one is running government at the time of a pandemic and the others just want to. That’s why they have time to attend press conferences. ?
