My son works at Tesco. One day last week a chap paid for, then handed him, a packet of biscuits and said ‘Thank you’.
A lovely gesture, methinks, so I did the same a few days ago. The young checkout girl burst into tears and for a minute was inconsolable. Bless her.
Just goes to show the amount of pressure the country’s workforce are in. Many of the workers are of school/college age and I truly feel it for them. Every one a true hero. ♥️??
