    Favourite takeaway at moment is kebabs. New kebabery just opened and everything is excellent quality. Most surprising as we live in very old-school English village with Miss Marples round every corner (actually think of it as St Mary Mead-on-Sea).

    Curries, like Joss, are home made; have a great chicken one done with tonnes of coriander and marinated overnight (a must) in spiced up yoghurt.

    Most requested recipe by Mrs Tharg is Jerk Chicken; bloody difficult now that the best jerk marinade-paste is no longer on sale so have to make me own. Most enjoyable not only to eat, but to cook as well. Love blasting chicken bits with blowlamp just before serving. Whooosh! Bang! Best served with fried plantains, when you can get ’em.
