Is a hybrid for you?
How many miles travelled each year you would think would be the acid test, but its more the type of miles you do.
For instance, if you do lots of long journeys it won’t pay you to get a hybrid, if you do lots of shorter journey, say up to 30-40 miles return, or less, then yes a hybrid could be for you.
So 8,000 per year but long journeys = practically no savings, infact, depending on the type and size of engine, it could be more expensive. The same mileage doing 22 miles per day, which is roughly 8,000 per year =hundreds of pounds saving a year.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
