I think this will now lead to further discussions on the scheme in general.
i 100% understand people complaining why do people that can afford £1000’s for an AP even get benefits??
I don’t agree but in black and white out of context it doesn’t look good. They don’t look at what you’re entitled to it’s a case of do you really need this “tax payer “ help costing us?!
As a single disabled person I couldn’t possibly save £1000’s for an AP in a million years.
i think the next conversations will be “so if they can drive somewhere and get out and walk about so why can’t they walk into a nice warm office like us???”
I can hear them now for all the “of work age” none debilitating disabled people with cars!…
If 50% were British cars in 10 years it would be good if they worked it as a better deal to us the consumers at least by having the British built ones cheaper to lease – even better I’ll take a Micra instead of Renault 5 is its only £60 a week sign me up I’ll cope!
Anyway, like I say I don’t necessarily agree with all this but I think this is now a hot topic that the government has just looked at the tip of the iceberg quickly to get a quick win for the Budget tomorrow
