@kezo Your Cunning Plan worked perfectly. Now discovered that EV-tariff daytime rate would increase by 3.9p per kwh for us. We would be £60 worse off by switching to EV so will stick to (lower) current day-rate for car. Only hope that Ohme will be able/willing to connect charger to non-smart meter. Thanks again

I would perhaps now look for a fixed tariff sooner rather than later, as day rate prices will increase from next month and to see you over this winter at least.
