My id3 has not been charging properly for the last two weeks and could not work out what was wrong.

Yesterday I noticed it is only charging at 3.7kw. As I use octopus cheap rate it is only putting about 70 miles on it. Went on to my Ohme app to discover Ohme are aware there is a fault with the home pro and are working hard to fix the fault. Does anyone know how long this fault has been going on and should we be looking for compensation as I will now have to charge at high rate to get the milage I need.

I’m not sure if it’s a local problem but my Ohme Home Pro is working fine.

Check in your App settings that you are running the software version v2.65.

I’m aware of a previous problem when some were remotely upgraded from v2.5, but I thought that had all been sorted now.

Maybe also worth checking that nothing has changed in the car’s settings like eco or rate of charge.

Apparently it is only affecting some ohme pro charges. People are posting on ohme help that they have same problem. The fact ohme have gone to the exstent to post a prepared  message on there site suggests to me they are aware. I have had a charger since 2017 I have double checked everything.

Hi I have software V2.65, ID3 Max V3.2. So far no charger issues other than the usual.

Your car is not charging as expected.

Every now and then the charger will fail to see the cars current state of charge and therefore assume the car is at 0%.

This has not been a problem as 50% of the time the charger will see the true state of charge at some point. Or the car stops the charge when it gets to what it is set at i.e. 80%.

Ohme have now looked at charger. They may have done something as the message on charger screen which said car only charging at 3.7kw has now disappeared. I will charge tonight to see if has been rectified. Thanks
