Not wishing to throw any spanners into your plan, but how exactly will you charge the vehicle with a normal plug if you are just parking on the road outside your house? Surely you can’t just leave an extension trailing across the pavement as this is a big trip hazard that could surely get you sued if someone were to fall over it?
