I eventually received a quote from the first installer, £21000 “gulp”. I will hopefully get a couple of cheaper quotes by the end of this week.
I was happy with the quote for the battery of £6,100, the solar was a bit expensive at £4,000+ so that leaves almost £11,000 to fit an ASHP hybrid unit. The unit, plus control, costs about £3,000 so £8,000 for 2 men to fit it over 1, maybe 2 days mmmmmmmmm???
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.
