A stock car is great if you can get one, but the more premium manufacturers almost never have them as cars are made to order. Also, I have added options to every Motability order and would never compromise on colour. The advantage of a factory order is that, as it’s for a new car that the dealer doesn’t yet have, it counts towards their bonus targets (a stock car already has) so they are more likely to give you a discount on the AP. I’ve had £500 discount on our last 3 Motability cars and a further 15% off options as a result of placing a factory order.
