If you know which car you want I’d order now, you can always cancel if you want to. And if the AP drops in Jan then it’s a 2 min job for the dealer to re-submit the Motability order at the new price.

I can order on Sunday, which, fingers crossed it’s still there, I am going to do, not risking it not being on or gone up! If it’s gone down? That’s the gamble, not the end of the world so I’m happy, and after the Enyaq debacle, it’s a state secret till ordered ??

I’m not sure which car that’s why I waiting for Q1 to see any new arrivals or price changes yes of course dealer can cancel order but I’m taking the gamble roll on Tuesday 2nd January
Yup i agree with that sound advice, i would order now and cancel or adjust if the time or changes come. Seen way too many people on here, myself included suffer disappointment due to last minute changes to the prices and listings.

Those 3-years went by quick Mike didn’t they! Glad you’ve enjoyed your time with the C-HR. Smashing car & it still looks futuristic and very smart even today. I loved the 3-years I had mine.
Good luck on your next choice. I can choose my next car in a few weeks time for April delivery. December and January are usually bad months for car sales as people are thinking about Christmas at the moment & Wintery January ahead. February onwards sales will pick up – ready for the new March registration.

Completely agree. It’s perfect timing if your order window opens at the end of a quarter. If there’s a car you like, and you are happy with the AP, then it’s always best to order, as the car may be removed, or the AP increased, when the next quarters list comes out.
Once you’ve done that, sit back and relax and wait for the next quarters price list. If the car has disappeared or the AP has increased, breathe a sigh of relief. If the AP has dropped, as you say it’s a 2 minute job for the dealer to re-do the admin on the Motability system (doesn’t affect the order). Best of all, if a better car comes onto the scheme, cancel the order and place a new one. Daft to sit on your hands IMHO.

yes Solent my Chr is running like a dream and mot and full service March saw the new Chr in showroom yesterday should be on Q1 had a good talk with them don’t like the pop out door handles though !
Always a gamble when the new lease window opens.
The number of available vehicles has increased over the past 3 months, it was at 640 for a while but is moving up nicely now.
Ordering is one thing, wait times are another.

As all the others have said, Mike, order your first choice now and then change if you want to come the second of January. But if you don’t have a definite choice it’s a bit sticky. Fingers crossed, your gamble pays off.
I can order from the 30th of December, but will extend two years, as I set my sights on the new Kodiaq when it comes out summer/autumn time. Plus, there is nothing on the scheme that takes my fancy and I’m happy to hang to my Tarraco FR Sport.

We ordered today, and will see how things look next quarter anyway.
Who knows, the AP might go down…I ordered a VW Tiguan Auto on the very last day of Q3 when the AP was £2,899 the idea being I could change the paperwork very quickly the next day if the AP went down. On the first day of Q4 the AP went up by £500 to £3,399. I was told I could be waiting up to 12 months for delivery so with that in mind I still keep an eye on any new cars coming on the scheme in case they are a better match or can be ordered from stock quicker.
