There used to be a time when tv was a major thing for me and i suspect many others too. I knew exactly what time and day my fav tv programs were on etc. Nowadays my tv sits in the corner gathering dust because i get all of my entertainment from the the internet on my laptop, tablet & phone. Effectively the internet has killed off tv. I cannot even remember when i last switched my tv on.
The wife and i have both agreed that £159 for a tv license can no longer be justified so when our current one expires (i think January?) we are not going to renew.
My tv (Samsung 65in) is pretty new and was purchased only a year ago and with hindsight i don’t know what possessed me to buy it. Actually yes i do . . . Richer Sounds were having a big sale at the time.
I’ll miss watching big sporting events on the large screen but other than that its not gonna be a big loss.
Does anyone still watch tv?
