Same thing happened to me although car was one month old. If the airbags went off there is a fair chance it will be written off, otherwise it should be repairable. Either way all will be fine. In my case the car was written off, once that was done my old lease very quickly closed down and I could apply for a new vehicle with a new lease (one year rule applies as usual). You will get any advanced payment back pro rata and again this is re-paid very quickly. Downside is that if the car is written off you will NOT get a refund for any extra’s you paid for, that money is lost. I cannot speak highly enough of RSA and Motability with the way they dealt with the situation. I picked up a new car two months after the other one was written off.
