    Is there any evidence yet that burning these so called e-fuels will result in no carbon emissions?  That was the goal of banning ICE at 2035 including Hybrids.

     

    More importantly what studies have looked at what is emitted from these fuels?  My understanding was that the point was about the renewable source, ie not running out, not about reducing what comes out of the exhaust and into the atmosphere.  Again, my limited understanding is that if you burn anything that was formerly alive, carbon will be part of the emissions usually in the form of CO2.  Again, I’m struggling to see the benefit to the globe, even if German businesses can continue until the Earth burns…

     

    I’d love to see what the extremist eco-warriors make of that decision, maybe they’ll start gluing themselves to the autobahns as well?
