If I can add to what @BigDave has said. It would also add another owner to the vehicle, which would have a knock on effect, when the car is sold on by MB.
Also it is worth remembering that used vehicles are commanding a far higher residual price close to that of a new vehicle. Given the fact MB don’t pay any VAT on a new vehicle and they can get closer than ever new vehicle trade in value of an early terminaton. For this reason alone MB will have £ signs in their eyes, therefore won’t consider another scheme customer taking a nearly new vehicle.
Sadly I can’t see it ever happening, for the simple reason, I have never come accross a charity or not for profit organization not being greedy to some extent 🙂
